Your repayment start date depends on when the loan is actually disbursed to the borrower (not when you lend the money).
If the loan is disbursed between 1st to 20th:
Repayments start from the 1st of the next month
If the loan is disbursed after the 21st:
Repayments start from the 1st of the month after next.
For Example : Suresh lends on 20th June, but the loan is disbursed on 22nd June. Since it’s after the 21st, repayments start from 1st August."
For daily repayments (EDI):
These usually begin within 24 to 48 after the disbursal of the loan.
Example:
For Example : Suresh lends on 20th June, but the loan is disbursed on 22nd June, the repayments usually begin from 24th June.
Note : Repayments are dependent on the borrower's repayment behaviour and are processed only after the borrower makes the repayment. Additionally, repayments are not processed on bank holidays. If a repayment falls on a bank holiday, it will be processed on the next working day.
